₹21,000 gets you complete CPC or CCS preparation. ₹28,000 adds an AI medical coding credential and a fellowship no other academy offers.
Everything in Advanced, plus
Everything in Professional, plus
Graduates and working professionals in India preparing for CPC or CCS and a career with coding employers in India.
Life-science graduates from B.Pharm, Pharm.D, BDS, BPT, nursing, and B.Sc backgrounds usually move fastest, and students from other streams succeed when they give anatomy and terminology extra time. Choose Professional if you want billing knowledge and specialty coding in surgery, anaesthesia, or hospital coding. Choose Elite if you want AI medical coding skills and a fellowship after certification.
You train with a batch, five days a week, at our Hyderabad centre or in a live online batch, on a fixed schedule.
Homework follows every class, and weekend exams show what has stuck and what needs another pass. Over 2 to 3 months you work through 1000 questions and 10 to 15 full mock exams, using practical coding tools rather than memorized code lists. Your LMS access continues for 6 months, so revision does not stop when classes do.
Living in the USA? India fees are for classroom batches run on Indian schedules. Students in the USA train one-to-one, around US hiring requirements.
MEDESUN trains coders to reason from clinical documentation, not memorize code lists. Three things follow from that.
MEDESUN is the only academy offering FIMC®. It is built for the gap between passing an exam and doing the job: fellows code real-world, de-identified operative reports and inpatient records under mentor review. Professional includes specialty fellowship training in surgery, anaesthesia, and hospital coding, and Elite adds a one-month fellowship after certification.
AI and computer-assisted coding tools now suggest codes in many coding workflows, and a certified coder still decides whether the documentation supports them. Elite includes CAIMC®, Certified AI Medical Coder, so you learn how these tools reach their suggestions, where they go wrong, and how to validate each code against the record and official guidelines.
Stacking memorized codes without understanding is what we call intellectual obesity in medical coding. Our training works the other way: anatomy, documentation, and guideline logic first, so the code is a conclusion you can defend in an audit, not a guess. Professional adds CPMB®, Certified Pro Medical Biller, so you also see what happens to a claim after coding.
Choose the AAPC CPC® for outpatient and physician professional-fee coding. Choose the AHIMA CCS® for inpatient hospital coding, which adds ICD-10-PCS.
Exam fees are approximate and are set by AAPC and AHIMA. Confirm current fees, attempts, and renewal rules on their official websites before booking.
MEDESUN offers three packages in India: Advanced at ₹21,000, Professional at ₹23,000, and Elite at ₹28,000. Every package includes CPC or CCS preparation, 2–3 months of training with classes 5 days a week, homework and weekend exams, 10–15 mock exams, 1000 questions, 6 months of LMS access, study material and workbooks, and practical tool access.
Advanced gives you complete CPC or CCS exam preparation. Professional adds a free CPMB® (Certified Pro Medical Biller) and fellowship training in specialty coding for surgery, anaesthesia, and hospital coding. Elite adds a free CAIMC® (Certified AI Medical Coder), a one-month fellowship after certification, AI medical coding exposure, advanced practical sessions, and premium support.
FIMC® stands for Fellowship in Medical Coding. It is MEDESUN’s own practical fellowship, so no other academy offers it. Fellows code real-world, de-identified clinical documentation such as operative reports and inpatient records under mentor review, which builds the chart-reading skill employers test in coding assessments.
It depends on the work you want. The CPC is widely requested by coding employers in India for outpatient and physician professional-fee roles. The CCS suits inpatient hospital coding and includes ICD-10-PCS. Our counsellors can help you choose based on your education and career goal.
Training runs 2–3 months with classes 5 days a week, homework after class, and exams on weekends. Students preparing for the CCS usually plan for 3–4 months overall because the exam also covers ICD-10-PCS and inpatient scenarios.
India training runs as classroom batches, at our Hyderabad centre and in live online batches. You learn alongside other students on a fixed batch schedule, with the same homework, weekend exams, and mock exams for everyone in the batch.
It helps but is not mandatory. Many coders in India come from B.Pharm, Pharm.D, BDS, BPT, nursing, and B.Sc life-science backgrounds. Graduates from other streams can also succeed, provided they put extra time into anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Yes. The Elite package includes the CAIMC® (Certified AI Medical Coder) credential and AI medical coding exposure. You learn how AI and computer-assisted coding tools arrive at code suggestions, where they make mistakes, and how to validate every code against the documentation and official guidelines.
CPMB® (Certified Pro Medical Biller) covers what happens to a claim after it is coded, including billing and denials. Coders who understand the revenue cycle understand why accurate, well-supported codes matter, and that makes them more useful to employers.
Every India package includes 10–15 full mock exams and 1000 practice questions, along with homework and weekend exams throughout the course.
You get 6 months of LMS access, so you can keep revising after classes end and while you prepare for your exam date.
The course fee covers MEDESUN training. The CPC exam is booked with AAPC and the CCS exam with AHIMA, and approximate exam fees are listed in the comparison table on this page. Confirm current exam fees on the AAPC and AHIMA websites before you book.
Certified freshers typically apply for medical coder roles at healthcare revenue cycle companies and hospitals, in areas such as E/M, emergency department, radiology, surgery, and inpatient coding. With experience, coders move into quality, audit, clinical documentation integrity, and training roles. MEDESUN prepares you for these roles; hiring decisions are made by employers.
No. MEDESUN is an independent training academy that prepares students for AAPC and AHIMA certification exams. CPC® is a registered trademark of AAPC and CCS® is a registered trademark of AHIMA. FIMC®, CAIMC®, and CPMB® are MEDESUN program credentials and are not AAPC or AHIMA certifications.
India fees apply to classroom batches for students studying in India. Students in the USA join the one-to-one online program, which is scheduled for US time zones and built around US hiring requirements, including the internship letter US employers look for. Choose USA at the top of this page to see those fees.
