Why doesn’t the USA program cost the same as the India batch?

Because it is a different program. The India fee pays for a seat in a classroom batch. The USA fee pays for a trainer who works with you alone, toward US hiring requirements.

Why should you learn medical coding before applying for US jobs?

US coding employers look for a recognized certification, practical experience, and proof of that experience, and all three take time to build.

If you start training only after you start applying, you compete against coders who already hold a credential and can talk through real charts. Starting early lets you pass the CPC or CCS, complete practical work, and bring documentation to your interviews.

It also puts you on the current code set. The FY2027 ICD-10-CM update takes effect October 1, 2026, and employers expect new hires to code to it from their first day. Already working in another field in the US? One-to-one scheduling lets you prepare for the switch before you leave your current job.

Why is an internship letter a must for US coding jobs?

A certificate proves you passed an exam. It does not prove you can code real documentation, and many entry-level US postings ask for that experience.

Pass the CPC without verified experience and AAPC issues it with an apprentice designation, the CPC-A. AAPC’s removal pathways rely on documented experience, such as signed verification letters that state start and end dates, so check AAPC’s current requirements for your situation.
